Green Ecomony: how can it be integrated within the municipality? This is the question Maija Hakanen, from the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities, posed to the panel of the CHAMP final conference.
All panel speakers have agreed that green economy and green growth are now in national governments' agenda but using the word growth may be not the right one. Mr Risto Veivo from Turku believes that the term is used sometimes too much in general terms not allowing to clearly understand how to be green.
A Green economy is the only way to get out of this crises, there is no other way and this is also a way to get connected to the private world, it is the means to go towards a sustainable development, states Holger Robrecht from ICLEI Europe.
